Belfast folk artist Good Swim has released new single ‘Sink Like A Stone’.

This is the last single to be released ahead of his debut album, “The Mountains Sure Don’t Give A Damn About The Sea”, that is due out in October.

The track expresses the sentiment of losing control in a relationship, noticing the little things while everything slowly starts to crumble.

“Sink Like a Stone’ is a rueful look at a relationship gone bad and how the hate that brings can weigh you down and poison every part of you…And it’s all your own fault.”

The record comes following a break that Good Swim songwriter Dave McConnell had before returning for a studio session with producer Michael Bell at Start Together Studios in Belfast. From there, the duo found a direction that sparked the Good Swim solo project and subsequent rise.

Good Swim’s debut album ‘The Mountains Sure Don’t Give A Damn About The Sea’ arrives on Friday, 30 October 2026.
