London brewery Beavertown are rolling into Dublin this June with a new live experience built for big sing-alongs and off-script moments featuring Sexy Tadhg and Kean Kavanagh, who take to the stage at two venues in the city.
Hosted by Comedian Meg Reilly, the two-night series invites Dubliners to Stick Their Neck Out at Egan’s on Aungier Street, on 25 June, with a performance from SexyTadhg, before heading to The Globe on South Great George’s Street the next evening to see Kean Kavanagh.
DJ Minikimono will provide support across both nights as the brewery behind the Neck Oil Session IPA beer invite music lovers to revel in some sounds and drinks.
SexyTadhg, a bilingual multi-instrumentalist rooted in traditional Irish music, brings a memorable and contemporary spectacle to proceedings, while Kean Kavanagh, who is a co-founder of Soft Boy Records, brings his renowned singer-songwriting skills and multi-instrumentalism to the fore.
“These nights are all about the moments you can’t really plan for. Someone grabbing the mic, a room full of strangers suddenly singing together, stories getting bigger every time they’re told. That’s the magic of a proper pub night, and we’re basically giving that energy a stage and seeing what happens.”

Beavertown’s Soundtrack Stories is inspired by Ireland’s rich pub storytelling culture. Magic happens at shows when you least expect it, and guests will be invited to jump in and help shape the night as it happens.
“We didn’t want to create another standard gig night. This is about building something that feels spontaneous, lively and genuinely social from the second people walk through the door. The best pub nights are always unexpected and that’s exactly the spirit we wanted to bottle with these events.”
Genna Burchell, Head of Brand Strategy & Culture at Beavertown.
Tickets for both events are available via Eventbrite.
