West London indie outfit Lip Filler have shared a new single titled ‘Susie as they gear up to hit the road this month.
Taken from their self-titled EP, it is the last release from the short player, penning a political rebellion with a synth fuelled indie rock base.
“Susie is a song about post-Brexit Britain. It’s about older generations and the lack of attention they give to issues of the younger generations. The bar “Your breath smells like Persil” is a nod to an old-school method of punishment where you would get your mouth washed out with soap. It’s these conservative patterns of thinking that still linger in our generation through hypocritical politicians and lawmakers, to impact society for the worst.”

The band are presently engaged in a number of intimate London headline shows across the next two months before hitting up the festival circuit at The Great Escape, Dot To Dot festival, and VISIONS Festival later in the Summer.
