Listen | Bristol dream-pop outfit Oslo Twins release new single ‘Breath’

Bristol outfit sign to Fascination Street Records.

Bristol outfit Oslo Twins unleash their new single ‘Breath’ alongside the news that they’ve signed to Fascination Street Records.

A lo-fi, dream-pop sound is what Oslo Twins’ new single abounds with. ‘Breath’ is taken from the band’s debut EP, which is out on the new imprint, Fascination Street Records, later this year.

The label, founded by producer Ali Chant (Yard Act, Perfume Genius, Aldous Harding) in cooperation with Bristol’s Factory Studios, is an exciting venture for the city’s music scene.

The single is accompanied by a poignant effervescent music video by Max Mason, which has Edward Hopper vibes about its colouration.

“For us, ‘Breath’ is a very nocturnal song about feeling cut off from the world”.

Claudia Vulliamy, Oslo Twins.

The track features Harry Furniss from Bingo Fury on the cornet and Tom Connolly from Bristol group Quade, on violin. Making this a very Bristol-influenced track.

Oslo Twins will support Blondshell on 26 May at The Louisiana in Bristol.
