Californian musician Lael Neale has given us a present ahead of the weekend, with the release of ‘In Verona’.
It is the latest piece from her upcoming album, “Star Eaters Delight”, and is a gospel-style track that laments societal issues in the world from afar.
For the associated video, Lael directed it as she plays various figures in a newsreader position documenting the track’s lyrics as they were meant to envisaged.
After the last tour was cancelled due to the pandemic, Neale will head out on an international tour this year.
“Star Eaters Delight” is out on the 21 April 2023 on Sub Pop.
