Pretty Happy share video for ‘Conn Boxing’ and announce February UK and Ireland dates.

Cork outfit Pretty Happy have shared the video for ‘Conn Boxing’, a track taken from their debut EP “Echo Boy”.

As if that wasn’t enough, the trio have also unveiled the video for the song, which was produced and directed by Pretty Happy themselves and filmed at “Linehans” sweet shop in Shandon, Cork.

The track is a strong and uneasy song that examines the overtones of assault and how those who commit it are protected because of gender bias and status. The track’s ending gathers all the emotion around this issue and yearns for a purifying resolution to end the injustice and suffering.

Pretty Happy are to return to the UK while opening for Canadian post-punk band Preoccupations and headline shows before returning to a hometown show at the Cork Opera House supporting The Sultans of Ping.

Pretty Happy’s new single ‘Conn Boxing’ is out now.
