California-based, singer-songwriter Ashe releases her sophomore album “Rae” along with the video for her latest single “omw.”
The video for the track, directed by Jason Lester, features the artist getting hit with a pink flamingo and dressing up as a clown for a kids birthday party as events spiral downward.
Elsewhere, ASHE is joined by her lifelong hero , Diane Keaton for one of the tracks on the new album. The long player also takes on the team of looking at a brighter time rather than where moments have gone wrong or ended in conflict.
Since my debut is called “Ashlyn” and Rae is my middle name, it seemed like the only name for my sophomore album. I’ve inevitably created a trilogy. Ashe will perform a special one-night-only set to celebrate “Rae” at The Troubadour in Los Angeles, CA on 18 October. followed by a tour of New Zealand and Australia, North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom next year.
