Gilla Band have shared a new track and video, ‘Post Ryan’ from their upcoming album “Most Normal” which is due out next month.
‘Post Ryan’ follows previous singles ‘Backwash’ and ‘Eight Fivers’. This single is set to be the album’s closing title. Inspired by the beat from ‘I Ran’ by Flock of Seagulls, the band wanted to bring that intensity to their own output.
‘We thought, that’s a really great, immediate pop-sounding beat, let’s start there and go somewhere else’ – to have that immediacy, and then abstract out from there.”

This single comes with the news of their forthcoming show at London’s O2 Forum being postponed due to production issues. But instead, the band will return with a run of small shows around London from this month right up to November this year.
The video for ‘Post Ryan’ resembles that of a colourful visualizer with various forms of language appearing throughout.
“Most Normal” is Gilla Band’s third album–self-produced and recorded and mixed by bassist Daniel Fox at Sonic Studios and their rehearsal place.
