RobMoro TV | Jo Schornikow – ‘Visions’

Jo Schornikow by Emily Dorio

Jo Schornikow has announced her new album “ALTAR” with the release of latest single, ‘Visions’.

The album title is a nod to the definition of ‘change’ and the German translation of its abbreviated meaning ‘elder.’ The album stands inspired by Jo’s busy and devoted years of heavy touring, coupled with devoted years of early motherhood, and what emotions formed between that time.

‘Visions’ is an exhilarating piece of an alarming celestial convergence of circumstances that makes peace with the ephemerality of a moment in time. Paired with a video filmed under an unexpected severe weather warning at a small-town Tennessee fair and directed by Noah Hanson.

The album was written between Nashville and Melbourne over a year, before being recorded in Melbourne, Australia by Selwyn Cozens on an old Harrison TV3 console that was being thrown out by a local tv station.

ALTAR”, out 20 May via Keeled Scales.
