Toro y Moi announces his new album “MAHAL” with two singles from the forthcoming record called ‘Postman’ and ‘Magazine’.
The release marks the seventh studio album from Toro y Moi. And both of the new singles come with accompanying visuals.
The visual for ‘Postman’ was directed by Kid. Studio (Glenn Michael & Christo), and show the artist and friends hanging around the colourful San Francisco landscape. While ‘Magazine’ was directed by Arlington Lowell, showing Toro y Moi and Salami Rose Joe Louis outfitted vibrantly in a photo studio in a variety of playful shots.
The releases mark the first from Toro y Moi since signing to Secretly Group label Dead Oceans, an independent record label featuring the like of Japanese Breakfast, Khruangbin, Phoebe Bridgers, Bright Eyes, Mitski, and more.
