Stockholm based songwriter and producer JÁNA unveils a new single “Carefree”, the second to be taken from imminent EP, “Works”.
Released as part of Spotify’s Studio Oyster program, the track is part of releases from acts including girl in red, Becky and the Birds, SASSY 009 and Augustine.
Speaking about the track, JÁNA said: “It was very relaxed; we had some wine and watched SZA’s video for “Hit Different” over and over. I listened to that last part (which turned out to be a snippet of “Good Days”) like a hundred times, so I guess “Carefree” indirectly sprung from the inspiration and joy SZA gave us that day.”
JÁNA’s new EP “Works” is released 4 June 4th via Majestic Casual Records.
