Toronto’s Hannah Georgas shares a new offering called ‘Just A Phase,’ a gracious track that blends electronics with Georgas’ balanced tones.
The accompanying video pieces together a view of the album’s recording sessions and what came after. Filmed at The National’s upstate New York studio and during Hannah’s time on the road in 2019 and features Aaron Dessner’s Long Pond studio — recognisable from its portrayal on the cover art of The National’s Best Alternative Grammy-winning album “Sleep Well Beast”.
Georgas began creating the album about a year after the release of her celebrated 2016 album “For Evelyn”, writing and demoing songs in her Toronto apartment, finishing with a month-long retreat in Los Angeles.
Her new LP “All That Emotion”, will be is out on 4 September 2020 on Brassland and Arts & Crafts with the lead single ‘Dreams.’
