Arcade Fire multi-instrumentalist, Will Butler, has announced the release of his second solo album “Generations” by unleashing new single, ‘Surrender’.
The enthusiastic track also shows the many talents of Butler, who orchestrated the self-made music video too.
Five years since the release of his debut album “Policy”, Butler toured the world both solo and as a member of Arcade Fire, and earned a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard, not to mention other work on raising awareness of social issues, and bringing up his three children.
Through this, the artist found inspiration for his second solo album, “Generations”, which should be released in late September. It was recorded and produced in the basement of his home in Brooklyn before lockdown began in March 2020.
