Christian Cohle has released a new single, ‘Ghost’, a synth fueled expression of loss.
The Dublin artist offers a second taste of ‘Holy Trouble’ full-length, which is due later this year
Co-produced with Michael Heffernan (Dermot Kennedy, The Script), the track is a wave of emotion conveyed by eloquent lyrics and synth arrangement.
Speaking of the track, Cohle says “’Ghost’ compares one loss after the other, when multiple pillars of importance collapse and you feel deserted.”
“While I was writing the lyrics, I kept getting this stark image in my mind, of a tower slowly falling to the ground. This became the motif of the song for me and really informed the mood of the track, I think.”
Christian Cohle’s debut album ‘Holy Trouble’ is due for release later this year.
