Norwegian singer Emilie Nicolas shares new single, ‘If I Call’, from the forthcoming third album, “Let Her Breath”.
There are elements of pop and electronica that pluck away through the lonesome lyrics. There’s despair but also a willing desire to right the wrongs in Nicolas’ tone of voice.
Speaking on the track, Emilie said: “Who hasn’t been outside in the middle of the night, wondering if you should call? And how terrible it would be if you were rejected? That feeling is at the core of this song.”
Following up from her second album “Tranquille Emile”, Nicolas has stated the purveyor of pop title that came with previous releases will take a twist here and there on the new record to include electro influences or R&B infused rhythm.
