Sufjan Stevens has released a new track, ‘The Runaround’, with his stepfather, musical companion and Asthmatic Kitty Records co-founder Lowell Brams.
The duo are expected to release a collaborative album in late March called “Aporia”. It was recorded recorded “Aporia” over the past few years during Bram’s visits to Stevens’ home in New York.
The video for ‘The Runaround’ was shot and edited by ABUTTA492, featuring bikers of the Bike Life movement on the streets of Harlem and NYC, Atlanta and Miami.
‘The Runaround’ is the second pre-release of “Aporia” and follows the previously released spherical instrumental song ‘The Unlimited’.
“Aporia” is out on 27 March 2020 on Asthmatic Kitty Records.
