MOANING have released ‘Ego’, a track taken from their second album “Uneasy Laughter” which is due out next month.
The track is synth based banger that holds onto early Bloc Patry vibes that are reminsenct of ‘Banquet’ or Helicopter. No surprise mind you, as the producer Alex Newport (AT THE DRIVE-IN, BLOC PARTY, MELVINS).
The video was created under the direction of Ambar Navarro (Soccer Mommy, Oberhoffer, Anna Burch).
The second album follows the self-titled debut of 2018 and on it, they face both personal and universal challenges in their own way: they talk about how they feel and channel these emotions directly into their music.
“Uneasy Laughter” is due out on the Sub Pop label on 20 March 2020.
