Catholic Action have released the video for new single, ‘People Don’t Protest Enough’, a trippy fuzz collection of images to make us think differently.
The band cut through the noise lyrically and have described it as “This is Casiotone for the politically marginalised. This is Krautrock for a progressive, positive future.”
Director Jamie Logie had a vision for the video to introduce a green screen to break away from expressing the layers of lyrics. Creating a new perspective.
The progressive sound humoursitc take on politcal negatives have catapulted the band into fans playlists in recent months. Appearances at festivals like SXSW are planned with a number of UK tour dates to follow.
March 11-15 – The New Colossus Festival, NYC, USA
March 13-22 – SXSW, TX, USA
May 02 – Liverpool Sound City, Liverpool, UK
May 03 – Hit The North, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK
May 08 – St Lukes, Glasgow, UK
New album “Celebrated By Strangers” is set for release on 27 March via Modern Sky.
