Finnish artist Sofia kicks off the new year with new single, ‘Sorry’,
Featuring Jesse Markin the track flows between R&B influence and more indie-pop structure.
About the track’s creation, Sofia explained how a quote, often used by fashion icon RuPaul, helped inspire it, “If you can’t love yourself, how the hell are you gonna love somebody else? I wrote this song while going through a breakup, just admitting that you’re through can be a pretty hard thing to do, but some things can’t be locked out and need to be experienced”.
Produced and co-written by Finnish producer Matti Pitkänen, ‘Sorry’ showcases the sound Sofia has introduced us to in her debut EP ‘Heavy’, as well as Spotify ‘New Music Friday’Playlist in Finland.
