DESTROYER has come to the fore with a new video for ‘It Just Does not Happen’, the second single from the upcoming album “Have We Met”.
The imagery of this video is minimalist, a single snowmobile is visible with the light that illuminates the area. While the rider encounters some folk along the way, ultimately they ride alone in the dark.
No re-recording. No cleaning up. The band-oriented approach of DESTROYER has been shelved and colleagues John Collins and Nic Bragg where tasked with adding their contributions later in the recording process, much of which was on Bejar’s kitchen table.
An EU tour is planned in April and May with some of the dates mentioned below.
DESTROYER’S thirteenth album titled “Have We Met” will be out on 31 January 2020 on Dead Oceans.
