‘Romances’ is taken from The Late David Turpin’s new album of the same name.
Featuring vocals by Nigerian-Irish singer Xona (of XoMo) and French-Irish artist Samyel, the song Weaves in through pop textures with a melodramatic feel to its theme.
The song was produced by David with contributions from Ross Fortune (Benny Smiles), Stephen Shannon (Mount Alaska) and Simon Cullen (Choice-prize winners Ships).
Shot by Gareth Stack, follows the the scenes behind the photo-shoot for the album artwork at Kevin Kavanagh Gallery, Dublin.
The artwork for the contemporary pop record with fine-art photographer was made by Dorje De Burgh. Other images feature in a special limited-edition art-book (including a download of the album), available from his website.
