Frankie Cosmos have released ‘Wannago’ from their fourth studio album “Close It Quietly” on Sub Pop.
They’ve also released a video which takes a lighter look at reality shows. Think Great British Bake Off with a spin of self-depreciating humour.
Drummer Luke Pyenson has the following to say about the song: “I thought a baking competition theme would translate well to a music video. In some ways I think the lighthearted drama, tension, and release of that format mirrors the ebb and flow of emotions (lyrically and musically) in this song, and so it was kind of a natural fit.”
