Charismatic and with a voice of gold, Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes will present premiere her first solo album “Jaime” on 20 released September this year.
To coincide with the album news, a unique Parisian date at l’Alhambra has also been announced for 4 September 2019.
Brittany Howard recorded this album after crossing the United States from Nashville to Topanga, a small California town wedged between the mountains and the beach. “Jaime” album bears the name of her sister, who taught her to play the piano and write poetry, and who died of cancer when she was a teenager.
“The album is her memory, she really shaped as a human being. But the record does not talk about it but me.”
