Bilbao BBK Live descends on the are of Kobetamendi with cultural activities to the city streets soon. It seems that aside from the main music line-up, The xx will bring their Night + Day festival to the city too along with Hirian (Bilbao La Vieja) and Bilbao BBK Live Bereziak.
Curated by The xx, Night + Day is a festival within a festival that celebrates the band’s favourite places around the world. Expect collaborations with local artists, music, cinema, radio and more in Bilbao from 6 to 11 July.
The first event announced will see a performance by Jamie xx + more on two stages outside the city’s most iconic background: the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.
Tickets go on sale on Friday 13 April, with discounts available for festival pass holders. The full Night + Day programme will be revealed soon at www.bilbaobbklive.com
