Indie outfit Febueder returns with their new single and video for ‘Hans’. A track that throws them under the spectrum of sounding like Foals.
According to design and architecture website The Spaces, Director Lexi Kiddo set the film at the modernist looking Bevin Court following a location scout. The building itself was originally completed in 1954 and designed by Berthold Lubetkin, but went under a renovation that was finished in 2016 and kept the natural sets of stairs that are central to the video.
Also described as two people dragging big rocks up a staircase, we’ll delve a bit deeper to say that there is a lot of weight on the shoulders of these two characters which you can see below.
The track was mixed by Marta Salogni (Bjork, Frank Ocean, The xx), and is a fine new chapter for the band bound for SXSW with a new EP out on 6 April.
