Westerman has released the video for single, ‘Confirmation’, which was conceived as the result of writers-block for the West London artist.
The Jonjo Lowe directed visual representation of the track tries to put across themes otherness, impulsiveness and escapism. While there is a touch of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory about this video, it seems we get a taste of Westerman and the Sweet Shop as a spinoff.
The sounds are fantastic with playful starry-eyed piano and subtle percussion. It’s no wonder Noisey and Pitchfork were quick to champion it.
