The RTÉ Choice Music Prize returns this year with the announcement of Irish Album of the Year 2017 shortlist and details of the live event in March.
The list for Album of the Year is as follows>

Details for the live event, which includes the ceremony of winners for both Album and Song of the Year categories, will take place at Dublin’s Vicar Street venue on Thursday, 8 March 2018.
The shortlist for the Irish Song of the Year 2017 will be announced on Wednesday 31 January 2018. A special event featuring performances from nominees for Album of the Year and Song of the Year will be held in Dublin’s Tramline venue on the same evening.
