Superorganism burst onto the new music scene last year with a lot of tips to be this year’s hot new band. Building on their previous successful singles, they have announced their debut album – which is self-titled – on 2 March 2018 on Domino Records.
The eight-piece band from east-London also dropped a new single – and video – for ‘Everybody Wants To Be Famous’. Which is another fine piece of self-recorded work by the DIY, lo-fi outfit.
The video from Superorganism’s own Robert Strange and can be watched above. It shows one of the members, Orono, charting the rise and fall of a holographic viral star through a psychedelic screenshot storyboard. Quite trippy.
