ALASKALASKA have landed and sounding like an absolute gem so far with their ‘Bitter Winter’ EP. Decadent art-pop that winds, twists, and swirls its way through a dark funky route from the London six-piece.
Landing on desks everywhere with acclaim from Too Many Blogs and numerous BBC Radio 1 DJs, the band have given us a video worthy of the track’s impeccable groove thanks to 17-year-olds Soren Harrison and Amir Hossain.
Apparently, the brief was about plonking yourself in front of the TV for hours watching wrestling, which is almost exactly what we get except the band have been dropped into a vision of becoming exactly what they were watching. The end result is quite funny and good quality, especially for your first time eh?
