Signed to Future Classic (Flume, Chet Faker), PANAMA has kept up the impressive debut singles list. A tad more stripped than usual, it leaves the door wide open as to what we can expect from “Hope For Something” EP which out on 23 June.
‘Into Yellow’ signals the return of London-based, Martin Luke Brown. The single is also his first on Manchester indie label LAB Records. There are touches of Sigur Ros and The Japanese House. As tracks go it is chllled and quite vocoder led, but that adds to its charm.
Simian Ghost have release a super pop track, with indie connatations. Produced by Phoenix member,Thomas Hedlund, “When You’re Ready” is definitely a summer track.
Produced by Paul Epworth, ‘Machine’ shows The Horrors back in their stride. A date at Omeara in London, following a run of European support dates with Depeche Mode, will see them test out those new tracks even further.
