Critically acclaimed poet, Mike Garry, will be performing his poetry live at The Workman’s Club, Dublin on Tuesday 17 January.

His Ode to Tony Wilson, ‘St. Anthony’ was Number One in 3 Official UK Charts in August 2015, as well as writing four books throughout his career.

The event is free entry and kicks off at 8:30pm. Special guest on the night will be Lewis Kenny. Lewis’ rhymes confront the issues facing our communities, drug culture, the unforgiving highs and lows of being a dedicated football nut.

Simple Minds have added a second Olympia Theatre date on 8 June 2017, due to demand.

The tour will see them perform a career spanning collection of songs acoustically for the very first time.

Aslan will play The Olympia Theatre on 16 March 2017.

DAVIS will play Whelan’s, Dublin, on 19 January 2016.

The duo have just released the video for new single, ‘Eager’, which is taken from their first EP, “Simple Minds, Complex World.”

The Banjo & Bovril Trad & Folk Festival, now in its third year, will take place at The Harbour Bar from Wednesday 25 – Sunday 29 January to celebrate Irish music with purveyors of trad and folk.

The line-up will feature acts such as: Mick Flannery • The Eskies • Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh • Bunoscionn • David Keenan • AnTara • and many more.
