In episode 1, RobMoro had a chat with Cavan’s Aine Cahill about performing at 3Arena, Glastonbury, and touring. In what has been a busy year for The Academic, the guys describe their “Whirlwind” 12 months that had seen them spring from Other Voices in Dingle to the European festival big hitters. All Tvvins later rounded off an afternoon of interviews by giving a tour and album retrospective that has seen them step out into centre stage.
The interviews formed part of a wonderful evening for ISPCC and RTÉ 2fm at their Xmas Ball in Dublin, which raised almost half a million euro for children in need.
