Stumbling across this track on Soundcloud, ‘Backseat’ by Little India has proven to be an infectious find. Channelling the sound of LISBON and Two Door Cinema Club, but visually representing a neon dream of Neon Indian and The 1975, Little India could go much further if they get the right breaks.

GANGLY are a Reykjevík trio who hide behind mysterious artwork and perform haunting electronic tracks. Despite their elusive identity, GANGLY are being tipped for big things.

Alt-rockers Team Picture have released their third and final track of the year, ‘Potpourri Headache, a slow trudge through gritty rock noise that is aurally pleasing.  A heavy, but worthwhile listen from the Leeds outfit. Throw in the Deerhunter comparison and you are good to go.

Tesla Boy are a Russian quartet, making synth-soaked electronica wrapped in 80s new wave pop. Some staple drumbeats of the 80s give this track its catchy hook.

Mainland released ‘Dummy Test’, a fast cutting punk rock track, kicking through rebellious lyrics with pace that enters into Circa Waves territory. Self-produced and intending to rock further in the New Year, Mainland might be rock heroes yet.
