Palm Honey’s ‘Stick The Knife In’ explains itself after a few listens. You would do well to find a track that hits Day Wave on a Sundara Karma or Spring King binge.

Okay, okay, perhaps a lot of Enemies  tracks have appeared here in recent weeks, but it is their final hurrah after all and rarely is there an opportunity to share such good music from one album such a short space of time.  This one is the final one, as ‘Leaves’ scatters itself in post autumnal November with layered guitars and vocals, offering a synthesised climax.

Liverpool based five-piece Paris Youth Foundation have announced the release of their debut single, Losing Your Love’BBC have caught them early, as have Spotify.  Exhilarating alt-rock that echoes The Wombats and Bloc Party.

Throwing guitar riffs close to that of And So I Watch You From Afar, ORCHARDS drive syncopated rhythms through synth and guitar creating a grunge sound that preludes getting the claws stuck in. Hint of Young the Giant towards the end.

‘All I Have’ is the debut single from London newcomer Cartaé. R&B-influenced, 80s styled, you fall for the soaring vocals and Soft Cell synth aerobatics. R&B Passion Pit for your gym playlist.
