The Bowery – Outside
Set to anchor in Rathmines, The Bowery will dock and open up to the public on the Halloween Bank Holiday weekend. Featuring Stomptown Brass, The Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow and a very special guest courtesy of local heroes Abner Brown’s, the opening weekend is set to special.
Brought to you by the people behind The Salty Dog stage at Electric Picnic, a “Rock ’n’ Rum.” policy will operate for five days a week from 5pm with music being the main attraction.
The Bowery – Inside
Soaked in history, the port holes lining the bar came from Irish Naval auxiliary ship L.E. Setanta, which was decommissioned in 1980. The floorboards come from the recently demolished Boland’s Mill in Ringsend, while the wood paneling came from the former Little Sisters of the Poor convent on The South Circular Road.
Drinks wise, it is stocked with rum including their very own craft rum aged in smoked barrels which will have you sailing in no time.
