Sold out months in advance, timetables at the ready, and all the camping gear packed. It is doubtful you need any more reasons to convince you that, ticket or not, Electric Picnic has been a firm fixture and closing party for the Irish Summer.
LCD Soundsystem, Lana Del Ray and The Chemical Brothers topping the bill each night of Electric Picnic this weekend. Tickets have already sold out months in advance, with the attendance to rise to 55,000 this year.
They are joined by a host of great acts including; The 1975, NAS, New Order, Local Natives, Glass Animals and many more. Those all important stage times for these acts are available from The Irish Times and also various apps including the Official Electric Picnic app.
CASABACARDÍ will be there once again, with a line-up including producer and house DJ, Huxley, dance maestro, Nicky Siano and festival heavy hitter The Magician who will bring the CASA BACARDÍ festivities to a close on Sunday night plus many more inbetween.
Heineken Sound Atlas Amsterdam
Sound Atlas will recreate an Amsterdam barge and run games of Barge Ball throughout the Electric Picnic weekend. The Sound Atlas space will be the ultimate beer garden by day before transforming into one of the biggest parties on-site by night. Amsterdam’s eclectic street food culture will be brought to life with a selection of Dutch delicacies on offer. The renowned Sound Atlas Photo Booth will also return with an Amsterdam makeover.
