Yorkston / Thorne / Khan bring their album “Everything Sacred” to Ireland this August.
A chance meeting in Edinburgh brought these lads together to start making music. Influential, Scottish folk-singer and guitarist James Yorkston, Indian sarangi maestro Suhail Yusuf Khan and jazz double bassist Jon Thorne are the squad that form this unlikely trio. The three-piece somehow manage to seamlessly merge Scottish- folk, north Indian classical and western-jazz and the result is pretty epic.
