Primal Scream have been forced to cancel their live shows until Mid-August, including Bundoran’s music and surf festival, Sea Sessions,.

Frontman Bobby Gillespie picked up an injury in Switzerland earlier this month. While the festival announced the unfortunate news and a speedy recovery to Bobby, they are happy to confirm that the band will play the festival in 2017 on Saturday 24 June.

As for this year’s festival, Northern Irish indie-punk act, ASH, have been drafted in to perform on the Saturday night spot vacated by Primal Scream.

This year’s Sea Sessions line-up is: Ash, Tinie Tempah, Gavin James, 99 Souls,  Apres Match, Bad Manners, Ham Sandwich, Sunset Sons, DJ Yoda,  King Kong Company,  DJ Hype & MC Daddy Earl,  Karl Spain, Moreland & Arbuckle, Pleasure Beach, CC Brez, Raglans, Daithi, exmagician, Miles Graham, Picture This, T.P.M.,  Fang Club, New Valley Wolves, Crow Black Chicken, Karma Parking, Third Smoke, Wolves of Youth, Ciaran Lavery, August Wells, Cut Once, Pierce Brothers, Bitch Falcon, Craig Gallagher, The Mushburgers, Mitch, Ferg, Feibhar Band, Anthony C, Penrose, Roisin El Cherif and more to be announced.
