Music | Gallery: A peek inside this year’s Forbidden Fruit Festival

This June Bank Holiday Weekend, Forbidden Fruit returns to Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin. The stage times have been announced, the after parties planned, and all going well the weather will hold too.

Dizzee Rascal headlines Friday night, Tame Iimpala on Saturday, and Underworld close the Original Stage on Sunday. Acts like Jungle, MMOTHS, Bondax, and more take to five stages of music and comedy across the weekend.

On Wednesday, RobMoro went for a peek of the site led by members of the POD team to see how preparations have been going ahead of the opening gates on Friday. There is the usual mix of stages like Original and Undergrowth. Bars and more non-musical attractions have been put in place for your pleasure, so expect a ferris wheel, whac-a-mole, and more spread across the city-centre venue.

What else?

Most of what you need to know has been published already, there’s stage times, a playlist (RobMoro’s), Forbidden Fruit Night sets in venues like Wigwam, Button Factory, The Sugar Club and more.  There is even a site map out but the site is pretty tight, so you will have no problem there and be sure to only enter via Military Road.
