This year sees a return to Primavera Sound Festival for Joana Serrat, with the festival’s El Segell del Primavera label releasing the album in Spain.

Overcoats is New York-based female duo Hana Elion and JJ Mitchell.  Their new single ‘Nighttime Hunger’ is shivering and full of dusky reverb tones. Overcoats will perform at South By Southwest this week.

20 year old folk/pop songstress Madeline Juno is rising to popularity after posting live videos on her YouTube channel, the German singer songwriter has gained a dedicated following for her honest, heart-on-her-sleeve songwriting. Her latest video for hit single “Stupid Girl” is a touch of early Ellie Goulding.

Irish alt-pop duo Hvmmingbyrd launch their new single ‘Out of My Head’ in Upstairs at Whelans on Saturday, 2 April with support from I Am Niamh, Saramai and Lauren Ni Chasaide. Check out them harmonies.
