Irish indie-pop singer-songwriter Marlene Enright has unveiled her debut solo track “When the Water is hot”. Marlene, who is a member of alt pop-rock outfit, The Hard Ground, has embarked on solo duties for the moment.

A support slot with Jack O’Rourke in Whelans on Friday 19 February is also on the cards. Tickets €12 available now or on the door.

#GoldenBeck returns to The Workman’s Club on Thursday 25 February.

#GoldenBeck is a collaboration between GoldenPlec.com and Claire Beck (TXFM/Today FM). This month Mixtapes From The Underground, BARQ, and KOJAQUE take to the stage to show case some of Ireland’s upcoming hip-hop talent.

Tickets for the show are €5 on the door.

The lineup has been confirmed for the first run of Garage Gigs in 2016, starting this week in The Grand Social, Dublin.

25 February: The Grand Social: Skyfever, Dorsia, Crooked Edge, and Key.

The gig is part of a series of monthly shows that result in a London finale in June.
