Folk pop duo Saint Sister have released a new track from their debut EP “Madrid”. An EP conceived after a session with Alex Ryan of Hozier in County Kerry.
The track is full of fantastic folk rhythms and vocal harmonies in ‘Blood Moon’, an excellent howl upwards that is sure to gather critical acclaim. A song for fans of Lucy Rose, First Aid Kit, or Wyvern Lingo.
Gemma Doherty and Morgan MacIntyre formed Saint Sister in 2014, and have already supported Arcade Fire’s Will Butler and San Fermin. The pair will also hit another major mark when playing Hard Working Class Heroes next weekend.
“Madrid” released via Trout Records on 13 November.
