Music | Other Voices returns to our screen this month as Hozier smashes another record

The new six-part series of Other Voices will air on RTE 2 from 12 April 2015.

As the Hozier craziness continues to take over, the Wicklow musician kicked off the new season of Other Voices with a special show .  Other Voices achieved record figures being the most watched show in the time slot, as viewers tuned in to the Hozier Special worldwide from the US, France, China and elsewhere.

It is fair to say the Grammy-Nominated artist has been “modest” about  his rise over the past 18 months.

Philip King, founder of Other Voices, said the audiences reflect the impact of this superstar. “Hozier represents all that the Other Voices series and Ireland hold as important.  Hozier bursts with talent as Ireland does.  As should have happened with Hozier,  Ireland needs to nurture its great talents or it will be just another plastic place.”

“This series is the strongest so far with Hozier, Damien Rice to come, again somebody we were involved with very early on, along with Jessie Ware, Young Fathers, Walking On Cars and Ibeyi amongst many others,” Philip said.
