a new 3-day citywide festival planned across the city over three days from 30 December 2014 through to 1 January 2015.Minister Paschal Donohoe launched NYF Dublin recently, with a new 3-day citywide festival planned across the city over three days from 30 December 2014 through to 1 January 2015.

The NYF Dublin Festival is an run by Fáilte Ireland in partnership with Dublin City Council and is produced by Holohan Leisure and MCD Productions.

Big news first, as you can ring in the New Year with Kodaline ,James Vincent McMorrow and many more at The NYF Countdown Concert at College Green.  There will also be a NYF Food Village in Dublin Castle; A Procession of Light from Stephen’s Green to Dublin Castle, a number of live gigs will also take place across the city at the NYF Music Trail.

If light-shows are your thing, then watch Luminosity bring the city streets to life with 3D animations, or get into the Love Dublin spirit at the Spoken Word Festival and a few more events to spark your end of year celebrations.

Finally, a New Year’s Day Fun Run will start from Dublin Castle to kick off 2015 nicely, or take part in free exercise classes in Dublin city parks and fitness clubs. For full details for each event visit www.NYFDublin.com.
