Gabby Young and Other Animals return to Ireland for the ‘Fear of Flying Tour’ this November. This follows aconcert at the Dublin Fringe Festival last year.
Thyroid cancer threatened to take Gabby’s classically trained voice at the age of 22, she got serious about recording her stories.‘I feel blessed rather than afflicted,’ she says.
Gabby then formed her existing band, who use a wide range of instruments, most notably trumpet, violin, trombone, piano and accordion.
Gabby Young and Other Animals play the National Concert Hall Dublin, John Field Room, on Monday 24 November 2014 at 8pm, tickets €18.
