Well nearly…Somewhere? @ The Workman’s Club is one of my favourite places to go for a night out and on Wednesday, 1 October, they’ll be turning their gaff into a birthday hub as Somewhere? turns four years old!
The night will start off with the first 100 paying customers being given a FREE SHOT to get your own celebrations started. Tasty! If that shot hits all the right spots then pop into the Main Room for The Workman’s Karaoke Club, which as a special once off treat (it is our birthday after all!) will be taking place.
Get your groove on with classic indie anthems upstairs with Trev Radiator, Steven Gannon (Kid Karate) and Brian Ashe (Leaders of Men) spinning everything from Jagwar Ma to Arctic Monkeys to Interpol and more! Shout out lyrics and riffs are what reside in that space. If you decide to delve downstairs the BPM will get faster with Niall D’arcy giving you monster hip hop, R n’ B, disco and house. NICE.
Admission will be FREE IN BEFORE 11 then it’s a mere €4 ALL NIGHT for the night that’s in it. So go and enjoy the karaoke, 4 DJs, two floors of tunes and those pints and cocktails on offer from just €4.
