Theatre | Ballyturk sells out in Galway ahead of shows at The Olympia Theatre

MCD, Landmark Productions and Galway Arts Festival have announced that the hugely anticipated play ‘Ballyturk by Enda Walsh will come to The Olympia Theatre from 7-23 August 2014..

The production will make it’s premiere at the Galway Arts Festival in July, promises to be one of the theatrical highlights of the year and reunites the creative team behind Enda Walsh’s ‘Misterman’.  The acclaimed hit play by the same company that starred Cillian Murphy.

‘Ballyturk’ marks Cillian Murphy’s return to the stage.  He will star alongside Walsh’s long-time collaborator Mikel Murfi, and actor Stephen Rea.

The play is Walsh’s first new play in four years and his first since he won a Tony Award for ‘Once’, the Broadway musical, currently running in New York, London’s West End and on a major US tour.

Tickets from €27.50 including booking fee are on sale now via Ticketmaster.ie and from The Olympia Theatre box office.
