Music | Other Voices add Foy Vance and George Ezra to line up

Other Voices in Derry~Londonderry have announced Foy Vance and George Ezra will join Poliça and Bell X1 on the weekend of 7-9 February.

Northern Irish songwriter, Foy Vance will be quite popular following his critically acclaimed passionate performances.  His album ‘Joy of Nothing’ also just recently won the Northern Ireland Music Prize for Album of the Year.

Bristol born, George Ezra will revisit Derry for his second Other Voices in as many years, having performed as part of the IMRO Other Room during last year’s series. Ezra has been in many critics lists as one to watch this year.

As well as the intimate performances in The Glassworks, The IMRO Other Room and The Music Trail will also return.

After a successful outing at Dingle in December 2013, Journalist Jim Carroll from The Irish Times will return with his Banter sessions for it’s 5th Other Voices appearance, which will take place at the Cottage in the Craft Village.

Tickets for Other Voices Derry-Londonderry will be free and can be won through various online and media competitions which began this week on the Other Voices website. There will also be live streaming around the city as well as online on http://www.rte.ie and http://www.theguardian.com/uk.
