Music | Biffy Clyro @ Laverys, Belfast, 27/9/13

Arthur’s Day saw Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro played intimate gigs in The Empire and Lavery’s in Belfast City.

The Script, Emeli Sandé, James Vincent McMorrow, Manic Street Preachers, Bobby Womack, Biffy Clyro, Le Galaxie and more joined in the one day event.

This year, there was also an emphasis on creativity through showcase events which all took place in local pubs across the country including surf yoga classes in Dublin, a cinema shorts festival in Galway, lunchtime theatre performances in Belfast and a spectacular festival of food in pubs throughout the city of Derry-Londonderry.

Dublin band Kodaline also did a lunchtime performance at the Guinness Storehouse, which was transformed on the day into an interactive creative hub for the lucky 500 people who won tickets to the event.
