Mercury Prize Nominee, Villagers have announced some new Irish dates for December, on top of their big headline show in Vicar Street which is currently on sale. Conor O’Brien and Co. will stop off in Belfast, Derry, Galway and Cork before returning to Dublin for their headliner.
Villagers’ latest album Awayland was recently nominated for the Mercury Prize, album of the year 2013. This is the second nomination for Villagers, which makes them the first Irish act to make the list twice. The winner will be announced in London on 30th October.
Tickets for Villagers December tour of Ireland go on sale this Friday at 9am. Tickets are available from www.ticketmaster.ie and Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
